iphone 13 pro max screen issue after charging or lock the screen

I have a problem with my iPhone 13 Pro Max, it was good the first day I got it, I left it charging the first night and a black transparent square appear on my screen and hasn’t go away, I restarted the phone, restored it, updated it, everything and it doesn’t go away, is this a display issue?

So if it goes away, that determines it is not an issue with your screen, fortunately.

I suggest you contact Apple Support for further assistance:

Well at the Apple Store they just restored it and told me to set up the phone as "new” that just helped for a day and went back to the same, and I did find 5 cases with the same problem here in ASC. From a couple years ago and nobody seems to find or fixed the problem, I’ll guess just return it but I really can’t stay without a phone because of my work.

I’ll leave the link for the old discussions about having the same problem.

Thank you for the photo.

Troubleshooting Screen Issues:

Being Stuck in a Boot Loop:

Similar to seeing a black screen, the iPhone may be stuck in a boot loop. This typically happens when you unsuccessfully download something or an update stalls.  So, refer to my User Tip: How to Fix an iPhone in a Boot Loop - Apple Support

Yeah, I would definitely contact Apple Support with this. Or, take it back to whoever sold it to you, (You mention it is only a few days old?) and show them this issue. Maybe you can get a refund or a new iPhone. They’ll know their policies best, though.

I also searched around in older Discussions here in ASC. I didn’t find anything else that’s similar to this!
