Activation lock after reset

Hello to everyone,

I need some help with my Intel Mac mini which I reset from General/reset.

After resetting, it asks to log in with the previous Apple ID user or passcode. Neither of the two works.

The Apple ID is one starting from an L, which in our family we have 2. Again neither will be accepted and get an error that it is not the right user.

This Mac has been bought from an Apple store but since a few years have passed I do not have the purchase receipt to ask for an official reset.

Is there another way to bypass this or is the mini a brick now?

thank you

You should contact the official Apple Support about that and ask for assistance.

Only they can look into your personal data to find a solution.
