iPhone email file attachment source

When I want to attach a file in an email, the default file source location is a random folder in iCloud Drive requiring me to click multiple times to redirect to my OneDrive folder to choose a file from there. How do I change the default files page when I want to attach a file so it starts at the file location I want?

Hey ariane250,

When adding an attachment, the default location is in Files. From there, you can select the location the document is saved if it's not in the Files folder. For more details about adding an attachment to email, click here: Add email attachments in Mail on iPhone.

There isn't a way to change the default location, however if you would like to submit feedback or suggestions about this to Apple, you may do so here: Product Feedback.

Take care.
