My iPhone battery health is 92% after 1 year

87 % battery health of iPhone 13 within 10 months 😡, Very bad

iphone 13 pro max have had it for 2 years and I have 91 battery life left i don’t let it sitting on charge over 100 I make sure to try and take care of the life on it and it does great for me

after 27 months iphone 13 pro battery at 95 percent. I have never charged my phone over 90% ever.

You purchased your phone about 8 months ago and on average, Battery Health declines at about 1% month.

So, it would be perfectly normal to expect that your battery was at about 92% at this time.

So is it normal like I’ve charged my phone upto 96% at around 12:30pm and I’ve updated iOS version 16.5.1 latest after installing it drop by 94% and on 4:30pm its 57% on normal use so the battery drop by 37% in 4 hours.

Battery Health normally declines an average of about 1% a month over longer periods. So, it would normal to expect that your Battery Health would be about 88-90% after 12 months ( 1 year).

Your battery is doing better than average, so nothing to be concerned about here. If anything, you should be happy.

Lithium ion batteries want to be kept between 40-80% at all times. Do this and your battery health will last much longer. I’ve had my iP12 for 13 months now and battery health is still 97% for this reason. It really works!

I purchased a 3rd gen SE iphone Oct '23; after the latest update the battery power is down to 40% (with low power mode on) after 12 hours. The iphone was not used during this period, apart from checking the battery life. This was used as a test to see how much the battery degraded over a set time period.

Better than normal. Normally, the battery would be at about 95% by now since the battery normally declines....on average....about 1% a month.

Something is wrong. My SE3 stated it made more than 900 cycles and indicated a 85% battery life. Apple stated that iphone 14 or earlier have been made for having 80% at 500 cycles. I'm 400 cycles passed that, so I should be around 64% kind of... or a bit more, but not at 85%!

HEREcool health 100%. but it was 5W charge like new iphone 11 and dont have charger. but i got 5W on iphone 4s. then i just brought 120W xiaomi or GnA i forgot i think Xiaomi or oppo like white i dont know. i just brougth this cheap from Aliexpress. and after delivery i thought fake but its real i can feel it really heavy i tried open teardown. it look like Watts real has biggest Coil with thermal paste. then back. still working it really fast charge lol

My iPhone battery max capacity is 81% and I’ve had it for about 1/2 a year. I’ve only had it overheat once in the sun and it wasn’t for too long. This seems pretty bad to me, as I would expect an iPhone 12 to last much longer than that for just 1/2 a year. Is there anything I can do about this? Does apple say anything about if the battery health degrades quicker than it should they will help free of charge? I would imagine they don’t but it’s worth asking. Also, does anyone recommend any actions to reduce the rate of which my battery health will degrade? I use low power mode when recommended and keep it out of the sun and other bad conditions. Thanks

If you purchased the phone new from an authorized Apple shop, Apple Service will replace the battery for free if the Battery Health drops below 80% in the first year.
