Please tell me How to turn on Find my Device

The thief can’t turn off FindMy on your device w/o knowledge of your credentials.

If it’s not already “on” it’s too late.

FindMy can ONLY be turned on thru the device’s touchscreen.

Find My has to be turned on....before....the phone is lost. It's too late otherwise.

You have to have the phone in your possession to enable the Find My feature.

Hopefully, you did have the phone passcode protected, to help keep out the bad guys.

Troubleshooting a Lost iPhone:

Secure your Info:

Being this is a concerned for device and account access, you should (A)verify your devices, and (B)modify your credentials. Start with opening a new eMail address and use that for your Apple ID.

1. Verify your Devices:

Verify that all devices are logged in to your account, by using this link: Check your Apple ID Device List to See where you're Signed in - Apple Support

then...

2. Modify your Credentials:

Having been stollen, someone lily has your credentials. So, by all means, modifying them.

• Modify: your login credentials (Using Both a New eMail and a New Password for each and all sites)
• Associate: a different method of payment to your account
• Enable: Two-Factor Authentication for Apple ID and for all other accounts that have such an applicable option
