hi, my old ipad pro 12.9 / 2. generation / iPadOS 16.5.1 and my equally old smart keyboard don‘t connect since recently (already before the last update). What can I do? Grinding of the magnetic contacts?

Remove the Smart (folio) keyboard from your iPad - and carefully/gently clean the smart connector contacts on both the iPad and keyboard with a soft pencil eraser. Ensure that the contacts are dirt and dust free - and all debris from the eraser have been removed - before reconnecting the two.
