Why is my current number not associated with iMessage/FaceTime?

A month ago I switched providers and took my number with me, so my number doesn’t match the number the sim came with. This was fine until a week ago, and now I’m getting a warning message that my current number isn’t associated with my phone and will expire from iMessage/FaceTime in a few days. I’ve restarted my phone, turned iMessage and FaceTime on and off, and tried to change the number manually. How do I fix the glitch?

FIXED !!

just tap remove number on facetime and imessage

then go to icloud to numbers add number

go back to ft and im and add the number back.

Also make sure your esim that’s associated with your carrier is on. hope this helps !
