To enable Chinese handwriting input on your Mac Mini M2 without a trackpad, you can follow these steps:

1. Go to the Apple menu in the top-left corner of your screen and select "System Preferences."

2. In the System Preferences window, click on "Keyboard."

3. In the Keyboard settings, select the "Input Sources" tab.

4. Scroll through the list of available input sources until you find "Simplified Chinese - Handwriting."

5. Enable the checkbox next to "Simplified Chinese - Handwriting" to add it as an input source.

6. Once enabled, you will see a new input menu icon in your menu bar (usually at the top-right corner of the screen). It looks like a flag or a character.

7. Click on the input menu icon and select "Simplified Chinese - Handwriting" from the drop-down menu.

8. A handwriting input window should appear on your screen. You can use your mouse or trackpad to write Chinese characters directly on the screen using your finger or a stylus.

If you don't have a trackpad, you can use a graphics tablet or a drawing pad as an alternative input device to write Chinese characters. Connect the tablet or pad to your Mac Mini, and the handwriting input should work with it.

Note that macOS 13.4 is not a valid version number as of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021. The current latest macOS version is macOS Monterey (12.0). Make sure your system is updated to the latest available version to access the most recent features and improvements.

MacOS updates come out in the fall of every year. MacOS 13 Ventura was issued in 2022 and is the current version. MacOS 14 Sonoma will be released in a couple months.

I don't think you will see anything about Chinese Handwriting in your settings without already having connected a trackpad.
