Configure imap and SMPT servers addresses in Ventura

For many years, I have used POBox as a mail forwarder, allowing me to have my own domain. In the past, I was able to configure the server ids in setup. In Ventura, you are not allowed access to that information even when setting up an internet account from scratch.


Is there a workaround for this?

what is this IMAP or POP account? If this your issue...


The default these days is IMAP, however


Mail>Settings>Account> use the +/- to add your account…

you can trick the setup, enter a bogus email address that does not resolve and a fake password, so it presents option,


then change/enter all your correct information...
