XQD cards keeps ejecting randomly with M2

Hello,

My M2 Macbook Air keeps ejecting my XQD card, I testes with another one thinking that the problem came from the first one. I use a XQD card reader plugged on a Anker Hub USB C. My XQD reader works perfectly on my other computers/systems (Windows, Linux).

Each time I read or write to the XQD card (write, copy or move of file etc.), or sometime I do nothing, it is ejected randomly and unproperly.

I tried to format the XQD card too with Utility, and reset SMC but the problem is still present.

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 13.0

This is not going to help you; just our experience.

Cards and Macs just don't seem to mix well. We had so many problems we abandoned them altogether except for use in cameras. I bought a pair of 250GB portable SSDs for data transfer.

When my wife uploads her photos to her iMac, she does so directly from the camera ... either by cable or wirelessly depending on the camera.
