I have a business email and a personal email..on my MacBook AIR and apple phone 13 ..my business email does not seemed to be synced..so when I read/delete emails off my phone, they are still on my Mac email? I have googled what to do
how to sync...what the directions tell me...I either cannot follow or those widgets/keys/preferences are not
on my phone or laptop...

Three major styles of email exist:
IMAP for all non-Microsoft email services where a server hosts your messages:
Exchange for Microsoft email services.
POP - offers in app management of email local to the device downloading. Horrible for synchronization of devices.
These services have stand alone settings which may not be up to date on your Mac. But you could add an "other account" using IMAP for all these services, and lookup their settings on their website:
Google in your account settings offers configuration via IMAP.
Yahoo, Verizon, and AOL all use their own IMAP settings with similar structures.
You can't synchronize messages on the Mac or device, that aren't labelled as being on the server.
