No text notification for only one person
Why do I not receive text (audio) notifications for only one person? …for all others I receive audio notifications when a text is received.

- Have you had the chance to perform any steps to troubleshoot the issue? For example, have you tried restarting your iPhone? Restart your iPhone - Apple Support
- Other than the sound notification alert, do you get other forms of notification when your contact sends you a text message? For example, do you see a banner and/or a badge?
In the meantime, let's make sure that the text tone for the affected contact is not set to none.
- Open Contacts.
- Look for the affected contact.
- Tap "Edit" on the upper right-hand corner.
- Look for "Text Tone" and make sure that it is not set to None.
Also, let’s check for a software update and make sure that you are running the latest version of iOS.
While it isn't inherently assured that an update will resolve the issue, updating to the latest software version for your device can help isolate potential software issues.
Kindly secure a backup and update.
