What has happened to the GIF and More Apps options that use to show on either side of screen when you go to post a status on what’s app. The options have disappeared? I can go into a chat and the gif option is there but no option when I want to post a status. Both options use to be there and now there not. It’s only when I updated to the new iOS 16 this has happened

This does not work for whatsapp status at all. If you are in a whatsapp chat you can find gifs, but neither sticker nor gifs are available when you go to post on your whatsapp status. I get my memojis but not regular stickers and definitely no gif options, not even grouped elsewhere when posting for whatsapp status.
The GIF icon on Whatsapp for iPhone has now been grouped with Stickers and no longer accessible from the Camera and Video Library as before.
That’s all fine for chat. But it
means we cannot upload a gif on the stories as only “camera and Text” is avail

I have tired all of the above and none work. The issue is other people still have the options on there iphone which is strange. I hope it’s a bug what iPhone or WhatsApp can fix and soon. WhatsApp doesn’t have a clue it’s like talking to a robot.
