I have a iMac Late 2013 using 10.13.6 High Sierra and I am having trouble be able to update to catalina or even update safari. It is starting to impact what websites I can use for banking etc. i have checked all the system requirements and it should be possible for me to update the os or safari. Any help would be appreciated

Back up your data, check the application compatibility table, click here, and then on the download link for Mojave or Catalina; they're full-version upgrades and won't appear in the Updates list. If you encounter a specific issue, describe it in this thread.

Catalina and above won't run 32-bit software; if you choose one of them, use Go64 as well.
