How do you disable HomeKit device notifications for some family members? (E.g. kids don’t want to know if a door lock was toggled)

I got a Home Key compatible lock and my kids constantly get notifications when it gets unlocked/locked. Sometimes I want the notifications, but my kids never want them. Is it possible to disable notifications from one HomeKit device to only some members of the family?

You have to turn off on the individual devices. e.g. on kids device got to home app, long press on device and go to Details > Settings > Status and Notifications, and turn off Activity Notifications
