Please help me. My computeScr is asking for a code ignorer to play to my apple tv but I can't seem to find this code

I am trying to screen mirror to my apple tv from my MacBook pro. It seems like all is working. However, the computer asks for a code but the apple tv does not provide the code. Where can I find this code?

The AirPlay receiving device (e.g. Apple TV box) may have a password set for receiving AirPlay streams. You can look that up, or change it to something else, or disable that, in the AirPlay settings on that receiving device. The initial code may be obscured (••••••), but you can change that. Turning the password requirement off and on again will suggest a new (randomized) 6 digit code, but you may customize it to something else if you want.
