Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. We'd like to help and answer your question. According to this resource here: Block calls and messages from certain people - Apple Support
It states the following:
You can manage your blocked contacts through any of the four apps that allow blocking—Phone, FaceTime, Messages, and Mail.
This means that the block list will be the same for reach of the app settings listed above. You'll see emails and phone numbers listed when editing/managing your blocked list.
