Why don’t my pinned iMessages notify me? My phone won’t vibrate or make a sound for people whose messages I have pinned. My phone is not in any kind of focus and sound a vibration is on. Has happened ever since pinned messages became an option. How do I fix this?

SMS and iMessage notifications settings are not different. However. please check if you have enabled Hide Alerts for a specific pinned message thread.

The purpose of iMessage/SMS pinning is solely to enhance accessibility and is unrelated to the notification settings.

No, the messages aren’t muted either. I’ve tried multiple messages and whenever they are pinned they DO NOT notify in the way they are supposed to. It’s really inconvenient considering the messages I have pinned are obviously people I want to talk to.

If you remove the message from being pinned - you get notified. How do you fix the notification on pinned messages. Focus, do not disturb are not on and the pinned messages are not silenced. Notifications for the individual pinned messages are turned on.
Yeah…I know…doesn’t change the fact it’s still happening. This was not helpful.
