Beats Fit Pro Charging Case

I use the Beats Fit Pro. With large ear buds, as soon as I close the case, they stop charging and try to connect to my phone. With the case open or with the bud tips removed it works fine. There is something with the box closing tolerance that apparently dislodges the charging pins.

Most annoying! If I leave them in the case they discharge. Is there a work around for this issue?

As this does sound like a possible physical issue occurring, you may need to reach out to Apple Support to possibly review your service options. That being said, we'd like to first help rule out some possible causes, along with better understanding what's happening:

When did this start to occur while using the large-sized ear tips for your Beats, and does the issue occur if you test putting the smaller-sized ear tips before closing the lid?
Sometimes a reset resolves otherwise unexpected behavior: Reset your Beats earphones
Does the lid look like it's physically closing all the way, and have you tested for this same issue while pairing your Beats with a different device?
