Travel reservations with Apple Card

Made plane reservations with Apple Card but number on the receipt is not my number and it says “Univ Air Travel”. I do not see the charge on my account. What have I done

On your iPhone, you can also go to the Wallet app and tap on the card, then tap the 123 icon on top and Additional Card Numbers. This will show under Apple Pay the last 4 digits for your verification.


They might not charge your card since it is just the reservation. When I have made reservations for Hotels that offered a 24 hour cancellation after reserving, the card was not charged until after that 24 hours.

The number on the receipt is not your Credit Card Number, it is the Device Account Number and is a security feature.

If you made the purchase on your Mac, go to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay > [tap on card] > Show. This will show the last 4 digits of your Apple Pay Device Account Number.


For your iPhone, tap on any transaction and it will show the last 4 digits used and it is not the Credit card number.


Why it has not shown in your transaction history yet, I do not know. At least you can now verify that those are the digits that you see on the receipt. More info is here:
