Exchange Email will not work on Iphone

Hi - I have an issue with my iphone whereby my mail stopped working with native mail app. I was asked to re-enter password however when I went to re-enter password the screen to microsoft live would not come up. Stuck in a loop - therefore email stopped syncing.

I have since gone through all known processes to try and fix

Delete account, re enter etc, however nothing works.

Every time I try and set up the account with sign in the live log in screen will flick up and then go back to the iPhone screen, with "unable to verify information"

I have tried to manually enter information, turned off SSL, still does not work.

Email address works on my Ipad, no issues whatsoever through native mail app

On Iphone, Outlook App works no problem. It is the native app that does not work.

On Iphone I can add other exchange accounts from my work, no problem. same domain/server etc, just not my email address

I can also add my account to other iphones, no problem.

Issue appears exclusive to MY phone and MY account - the combination.

I am at wits end, can anyone please assist?

Iphone 14, latest update on OS 16 is on my phone.

Hi,


I have seen this issue few times.

Something to do with incomplete sync in the local Mail app data table in the phone.

Only way to reset it is - delete mail app and install again and add the account.

Off-course erasing the phone and restoring works - but will keep it for the end game.
