Viewing Apple TV on Android Device

Hello,

I have been watching Apple TV on an android device for about a year, and I was always able to change the view on my phone to a full screen (turn phone sideways). Has something changed that does not allow this anymore?

how to lock landscape view on iPhone using Apple TV+ app no matter what I do I can't lock on landscape mode on Apple TV+. There is no way to watch a show on Apple TV+ while laying on my right side holding the phone vertically. Interestingly only works when I watch on landscape mode and then carefully laying down on my left while rotation lock is off. Am I missing something?
