My son is 13 but I still get an error message saying he doesn’t meet the age requirement. has anyone been having the same issue?

Does your son have his own Apple ID and not a shared ID? Is your son a member of an Apple Card Family Sharing plan? Is his age on his Apple ID set correctly?


Update the birth date associated with your Apple ID - Apple Support


After updating his age, please log out of his Apple ID, do a forced restart (not just turn iphone off and on) and then log back into his Apple ID. Now try sharing an Apple Card account with him.


Sign out of iCloud on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV, or Mac - Apple Support


Force restart iPhone - Apple Support
