My mother has an 8. She is used to there being a bar of recent contacts when she has chosen a photo to share with someone. That is now missing. How can we get it back? Pic shows where the bar of recent contacts used to be. Thanks

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities. The issue you've mentioned is likely related to your Siri suggestions since sharing is basically suggesting who you might be wanting to share with. In that case, check the Siri settings including the following from Siri Suggestions on iPhone - Apple Support
"Change where Siri Suggestions appear
Go to Settings > Siri & Search, then turn on or off any of the following:
The Show When Sharing setting may be exactly what you're looking for and we hope that helps.
