120W charger

Is a 120W charger safe to use on MacBook?

I want to utilise my existing 120W, hp make (19.5v 6.15Amp) docking station (c type output)on my MacBook because it will help me connect with multiple accessories. Need expert's advice if this is safe to use and will not harm the MacBook in any way?

Thanks in advance

No one here can guarantee, whether or not, this HP "charger" will work with your MacBook Air. The highest wattage power adapter, that Apple provides with these laptops, is 70W. However, it is important to note that the charging circuitry is actually built-in the laptop itself and that this circuitry, in theory, will control the amount of power it will accept from a power adapter.
