Macbook Pro not charging

so I’ve had three macbook pro charging cables fail on me and i have no idea why. Nothing visibly wrong with them, no damage etc and i’ve only had this computer for about 2 years at this point. I cant get it to charge all the time now and wondered if anyone else is having this issue?

Macbook pro won't charge after MacOS update TLDR: My macbook pro won't charge consistently since the last update. SMC reset hasn't helped. Any ideas? I don't want to do a factory reset. A few weeks ago I updated my macbook pro. It's an old but trusty model that's never given me issues MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015, 2.7 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5). Then, the next time I go to charge it, the charging cable doesn't light up or work. Tried different outlets, nothing. But then I try it with the same outlet the next day and it glows green! Strange. From then on, it won't charge 90% of the time, but sometimes I'll get lucky and it works. I can't use the laptop consistently anymore, because it's almost always dead. I borrowed someone's charger to see if it was the cord's fault and same issue, so it's not a physical defect of the cord, outlet, or connection. Right now I'm running macOS Monterey version 12.6.7. I can only assume the version I had before this one was 12.6.6? Has anyone had this happen and resolved it? I reset the SMC several times and it hasn't helped. I'm pretty upset. I've heard of hardware mysteriously 'stopping to work' after an upgrade but never experienced it myself in order to force people to upgrade. I'm going to have to buy a new laptop if I can't solve this.

MacBook Pro 2018 won’t charge Hey Guys I have MacBook Pro 2018 and I just ran into this issue in past 12 hours. So I had my MacBook charged to 100% this morning and when I tried to charge it recently it just doesn’t charge, it doesn’t make the noise of charger cable getting inserted nor it shows the charging symbol on the screen. I tried all of the thunderbolts so I don’t think there is any issues with thunderbolts. I have tried restarting and every options there are on internet.

Yes I had one charging cable fail...

I hope you are not confusing that with the Battery Health Management software which will put the charge on hold...

Battery Health Management was introduced back in Catalina 10.15.5 and only works on a Mac with a T2 chip or newer
