My Apple Pay doesn’t work it just says scan and nothing happens

Check that you're able to use Apple Pay: Contact your card issuer to see if they support Apple Pay. Update to the latest version of iOS, watchOS, or macOS. Confirm that you have Face ID, Touch ID, or a passcode set on your device.


If you can't add a card to Apple Wallet to use with Apple Pay

To use Apple Pay, it's important to note that the ability to add a Debit/Credit Card to Apple Pay is dependent on the country associated with your Apple ID. For instance, if you reside in a country like India where this feature is not supported, you won't be able to add your cards to Apple Wallet. --> Countries and regions that support Apple Pay
