Battery health

Hello, just asking if its normal to have 96% battery health after 2-3 months of usage? I have iPhone 12 mini. Also I heard that they have bad battery but is it that bad or its just my phone

iPhones will lose, on average, about 1% capacity per month. So, while a four percent loss is a little above average for 3 months, I'd still say it's pretty normal.


There is absolutely no reason to be looking at your battery health unless you're having a problem with your phone or you're getting close to the end of the warranty. Until the battery health drops to 80%, knowing it doesn't really give you any actionable information. Trying to micromanage it is an exercise in futility.
