Will my iCloud data be moved to China instantly if I change the region?

I am planning on a staying in China for work.

As I will stay there and use the Chinese currency, I will need to switch my region to mainland China.

Will my iCloud photos move to a Chinese server once I switch the region to Mainland China? What if I provide an invalid Chinese phone number? Will

the Chinese government be able to access my private photos?

iCloud service broken in China Mainland I am a Vision Pro user from China. Where is iCloud data stored? My colleague has moved to a new country from Hong Kong. She has her AppleID region changed to match her current location. She is concerned about whether her iCloud data is still stored in one of the iCloud data centres in China and which the government has the authority to access the data stored in the servers in China. And now she’s moved to a new country. Will her iCloud data be moved to a server located elsewhere or is still accessible to the PRC government?
