I have new Apple TV 4K. When attempting to use in-app voice search (YouTube, Netlfix, Disney+ , etc) with the remote, it defaults to global search. In-app search works perfectly on my older Apple TVs. Why doesn’t it work with the newer one?

With the latest update, you now just press and release the Siri button on your remote for “in app” searches. A small orange circle will appear at the top right corner near the microphone icon. You press and hold the Siri button for the entire device search.
