Unable to purchase a customised Macbook pro in India

Iam in India, trying to purchase a Macbook pro online, while processing the payment via my HDFC bank credit card with the emi option of 24mths, I get an error stating - The issues could not authenticate the use of the card, pls contact the card issuer' I have contact my bank, given them screen shots and time of the attempted transaction, however they are 100% sure there is not issue at the banks side, as the transaction is not even hitting the bank for them to approve or decline...anyone else facing this issue? Any work around?

I called apple support and all the rep said was if 24mths dosen't work try 12mths emi..that should go through...I dont understand this response...why the trial and error? If I cld do the 12mths emi I wld have done that to begin with...does the apple.com/in site support online transactions with Indian banks?
