Any new updates on Iphone14 ring issues after recent update?

I have the same issue of notifications not working on messages - I only get a vibrate no sounds. 4 administrators at my company have now the same issue within the last couple of days. …Any news from Apple about their recent update that caused this issue? If Upgraded- have a watch - all worked great until July 18th or so. Read through all the previous threads but no resolution.

There are a few reasons why you might not be getting notifications on your iPhone. Here are some of the most common causes:


  • Do Not Disturb mode is turned on. Do Not Disturb mode silences all notifications, so make sure it's turned off. You can do this by swiping down from the top of your screen and tapping the crescent moon icon.
  • You're in a Focus mode. Focus modes are like Do Not Disturb mode, but they can be customized to block notifications from specific apps or people. To check if you're in a Focus mode, swipe down from the top of your screen and tap the Focus icon.
  • You've turned off notifications for a specific app. You can turn off notifications for individual apps in the Settings app. To do this, go to Settings > Notifications and scroll down to the app you want to change. Toggle the Allow Notifications switch to the off position.
  • Your iPhone is in Airplane mode. Airplane mode turns off all wireless connections, including cellular data and Wi-Fi. This means that you won't be able to receive notifications if your iPhone is in Airplane mode.
  • Your iPhone is not connected to the internet. If your iPhone is not connected to the internet, you won't be able to receive notifications from apps that need to connect to the internet to send notifications.
  • Your iPhone is not up to date. Sometimes, software updates can fix bugs that can cause notification problems. Make sure your iPhone is up to date by going to Settings > General > Software Update.


If you've checked all of these things and you're still not getting notifications, you can try restarting your iPhone. If that doesn't work, you can contact Apple support for help.



Have you enabled Scheduled Summary?


Settings > Notifications > [Select the App that you are having trouble receiving immediate notifications]

I’m sorry…I thought it was clear. Sounds for text alerts stopped working a few days ago. There are many threads on this but no resolution and instructions to start a new thread if not resolved. There are some users saying it is an issue between paired Apple Watches and the iPhone. I have had Apple products for many years and upgraded to iPhone 14pro three weeks ago and everything was working correctly until a few days ago and the same issue is happening to colleagues. Our first responder work requires that we receive audio notifications via text . All suggestions and settings have been checked, changed and re-changed and phone restarted multiple times with no change on this issue. As stated by some in previous threads it seems to be something that happened in the last update and not relative to any particular model as we have several models in use at our company. This seems to be a widespread issue by the threads so I was just asking if Apple had released any new info on this issue. According to consumers who have contacted Apple support they were unable to solve the problem with the tech on the phone after two hour support calls. If you Google this issue and read the 10 page thread on this in the community forum you will see that it is a global issue and consumers turning to ask Apple to fix the issue.
