I was locked out of my personal mac by my company that uses Jumpcloud. They gave a pin to try but it wasn't opening the laptop. After each failed trial, a count-down timer starts for 60 minutes until I can put the pin again. After about 7 trials, the laptop started showing "Try again in 284947849 minutes". How can I possibly recover my laptop?

I would contact your "company" IT for support.
No one here has override for your company setup and/or your enterprise software .

Hey, this is because it ran out of battery so the BIOS lost its time and has no idea what year it is.
You have 2 options, connect it to the internet to the cable, this will turn its clock back to sanity, then you should be able to use the PIN they gave you.
The better option, if you have another MacBook, install the Apple configurator on that, and then put this Mac into DFU mode, and then reset the locked MacBook, that'll get the MDM lock off of it and get you a fresh version of the latest MacOS. You'll wanna look up resetting mac with DFU mode on google or apple guides.
The company crashed and they fired everyone.
