I have a legacy IPod model MC297LL Version 2.9.4Mac.
My MacBook Air M1 Ventura sees the iPod but is unable to sync files into Music.App.
Is there a work around for a legacy iPod to access the Music.App?
My MacBook Pro 2009 fried 12.2022.
The last operating system the iPod used was El Capitan / iTunes.
The songs on my iPod are from legal CD's and MP3 files.

While there may not be an available supported method of transferring music off of the iPod classic to the Mac, if you happen to have access to the original CDs and files you may try exploring importing them to the Mac from that original source.
If any of the songs were purchased from the iTunes Store then you may find steps here to re-download those to the Mac: Redownload music - Apple Support
Before you can redownload music that you purchased from the iTunes Store, you need to authorize your Mac using your Apple ID.
1. Open the Apple Music app.
2. From the menu bar at the top of your screen, choose Account > Purchased. If you use Family Sharing, you'll see Family Purchases instead of Purchased.
3. Find the music that you want to redownload. If you use Family Sharing, choose a family member next to Purchased to see their purchases.
4. Click the download buttonnext to a song or album.
