Jumpy erratic cursor

I use miniMaC Monterrey

I have a new wired mouse (logitech). I have a relatively new mouse pad. I have cleaned it twice now.

I have had the system in shutdown twice. This last shutdown, I also unplugged every single plug I could find!

NO change in jumpy cursor! Suggestions?

AND: I click on an email...It backlights in black...but then jumps to the very last line on the screen.. This is beyond irritating. What's up here?

Jumpy magic mouse is everywhere! My magic mouse jumps and drags all over the screen. I have made sure it is charged but it skips from one line to another, never in the same direction twice. The pointer will pop up in strange places or not at all. I have not tried a generic mouse, not sure that would help. I have read all the fixes, restarted the mac, looked for bugs, changed mousepads, cleaned the bottom gently. Nothing has helped. Has anyone found a solution?

Mouse/trackpad glitch My mouse glitches at random times while i'm using my macbook air. I'm not sure if it's the mouse of trackpad or both, but suddenly when i swipe to change screens it would not do it, or when i hover over an button for example and try to click on it, it would not click/show drop down options. Seems like a bug after updating my macOS but not sure what can help Macbook Air, M2 2022, 8GB macOS: Sonoma 14.0
