Is it possible for my toddler to download apps to my phone without my face id ??

Have a look at this article for details about a password requirement (this is not the same as a passcode which is what FaceID emulates).

Using Face ID on App Store So I went and got an IPhone 12. I set it all up and now it keeps asking me to type in my password when I have toggled the AppStore and iTunes in the Face ID section in settings I have read others reply’s and tried everything it still won’t let me use my Face ID my two kids got the same phone and while having other problems it has let them install apps using Face ID but I’m still struggling.

Sooooo in short , if my child has my phone can she download an app without my password for apple or my face id?
