What does the green tick beside the powerpoint means?

At powerpoint for Macbook, when I clicked on HOME >> RECENT >> and there are a list of files. However, I saw there is a green tick next to the icon. Does it mean that it is being sync online?

I do not want it to be sync to any service online and i don't remember setting anything to sync.

Can anyone please assist? Thank you.

Thank you for the screenshot.

Solid Green-Colored Check Mark:

These are files synced through Microsoft One Drive --not iCloud. This checkmark means that the file is downloaded to your iPhone. Therefore, you will not have to go through One Drive to access it.

You are welcome.

Q1.Does it mean that I can access these files through one drive from another devices?

A1. Yes. OneDrive is a cloud storage(as is Apple’s iCloud), meaning you can access from whatever device you are permitted to use the service with.

Q2.How do I make it offline ONLY (don’t want to sync to onedrive)?“

A2. If you want to access the file when you are offline, you must download it from OneDrive local storage. It practically the same ordeal as with iCloud.
