This is a user to user forum, Apple is not here. Make an appointment at the Genius Bar to have it diagnosed. Unfortunately, at 13 months your warranty has expired so there may be a replacement charge.

Hi - Same issue. Happened to me day before yesterday. My phone is also out of warranty.

Yesterday I visited Apple Store BKC.

They will help you.

Just tell that it is a software update issue and the phone was with you and has not been dropped and you do not wish to pay anything as it is not your fault. They are understanding and will change the display within a day. I will recieve my iphone today.

Apple was of no help. Got a local shop to put an aftermarket screen in. Of course Apple serializes the screens so they can continuously show that it is not an authorized display. Part works fine.

Now my message to Apple…

If it wasn’t for a local repair shop helping me out instead of Apple’s poor response, I would have dumped all Apple products in the house. You should work with them better.

Troubleshooting a White iPhone Screen:

Try Swiping-Down from the top-right corner of your screen. See if that rids of this window. If not, I'd say the iPhone is stuck in a boot loop(because it was updating), or is simply frozen. So, if swiping down does not work, refer to the following... Try as Instructed here: How to Fix an iPhone in a Boot Loop - User Tip

No success?...

Apple doesn't read here for feedback or suggestions. You can, however, let them know your thoughts here:

Did you try to force restart? (have to ask that coz its a community meant to provide soulutions) Many iPhone 13 Pro/pro Max users are facing different hardware issues and Apple conveniently ignores all the issues. I paid $1700 for my phone and now they want me to pay $900 for replacement even though my phone is in perfect condition and I didn't do anything that would have caused a hardware malfunction.

I am facing the same issue now. I contacted with apple support in China and waited for several days, finally they replied that it is out of warranty and I need to pay for it. After searching in China forum, it has many same cases of 13pro and 13pro max series. It is really disappointed of apple service, they make customers pay for their quality issues.

I have the same issue contacted the support and the manager said wait for 3 days to check if they can exempted from the repair cost and he came back to just to of inform that it is out of warranty and I have to pay for the display unit. It is costing USD 350. It’s clearly a manufacturing defect and apple make us to pay for their mistake. Now we have to think twice spending lot of money on apple products.

It's not just 13 pro/pro max series phones, lot many 15 pro/pro max series users have been reporting the green/white display issues.

Some of my friends who own OnePlus (OP) devices and Nothing phone devices have been reporting the green line issue in the display. But the difference is OnePlus has updated the policy to provide upgrade discount starting from OnePlus 8T and if it's a latest model OP has committed for free display replacement

You can search in Google the OP policy on the display replacement is available all over the internet. I'm not vouching or trying to promote any brand or OS based devices but the point is we decide to spend so much of hard earned money on Apple devices expecting for better quality, security, OS, updates, service and support and looks like increasingly Apple devices have become only a style statement and nothing more than that.
