Why is CleanMyMac X bad for my Mac?

I understand that Apple doesn’t think installing CleanMyMac is a good idea. I just don’t understand why… I am a humble video editor and I don’t claim to know a lot about Mac but when I went to school all my teachers used and encouraged us to use this app. I haven’t had any problems yet but I use it only to uninstall programs that occasionally needs to be reinstalled due to malfunctioning after OS update.

Like I said, I haven’t have any problems… should I expect to have some if I use it just to uninstall apps? Can someone tell me what kind of problems I may experience, please?

Apple has no opinion regarding CleanMyMac. We are not Apple employees but are end users like yourself who volunteer here to help others.

Why we feel as we do is based on literally hundreds of topic where the user was having problems and uninstalling CMM solved the problem.

The ultimate decision to use it or not is yours as it's your Mac. We're just trying to import some of the information we've gleaned here from countless threads.
