Custom Transparency Mode not showing up

I followed the instructions from Apple as follows:

To customize Transparency mode settings:

Check that you have the latest version of iOS or iPadOS.
Put your AirPods Pro in your ears and connect them to your iPhone or iPad.
Go to Settings > Accessibility > Audio/Visual > Headphone Accommodations > Transparency Mode.
Tap Custom Transparency Mode and turn it on.

However, I am unable to tap Custom Transparency Mode as it does not show up in the settings. Screenshot is attached. From my understanding Custom Transparency Mode should show up under Phone and Media at the bottom.

Check Settings > Bluetooth > [your AirPods] … tap the circled “I” on the right and be certain your AirPods are identified as a Pro model.

I did not have my Airpods with me at the time I took the screenshot, but it is essentially the same with or without them. The Custom Transparency Mode does not show up where it is supposed to be.

I am also looking for resolution. In transparency mode now I hear loud sounds and when on the phone people can hear it. I cannot see the transparency mode at all either, and have done the rest.

Thank you! This worked! I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max. It is fine with me as long as I can get to that Transparency mode setting,

the top reply didn’t work for me, and I have this same issue. Is there another fix?
