Touch bar suddenly stopped displaying in Mac m1, 2020 but functions on clicking the buttons

It's been months when my touchbar suddenly stopped displaying but it is functioning when i click on buttons (muscle memory).

There are rare times since then when the display would appear but starts glitching and when i click a button with keyboard or trackpad, the glitches stop; and when i close my laptop and open it again, the display is gone once again....

Anyone has an idea what the problem may be? Thank you in advance.

There is no SMC or NVRAM on the M1/M2 SoC...

The best you can do if you have an issue— equivalent Shut down, close the lid 30 secs+ , reboot as normal.
