How to tell if some has used gel fencing on me

on my maps in Apple places are named and pinged but I didn’t to it is some in my account or using geo fencing?

There is a feature called "Geofencing" on iOS devices (including iPhones), which might be what you are referring to. Geofencing is a location-based service that allows apps to track a device's location and trigger specific actions when the device enters or exits a defined geographic area, often referred to as a "geofence."


For example, some apps might use geofencing to send location-based reminders, provide location-specific notifications, or trigger certain app functionality when a user enters or leaves a particular location.


Please see the pic below where I have created a Geofence for my car (1 km x 1 km). Whenever it exits/enters the fence I get an alert on my iPhone. This is a third-party app.
