Safari not showing up on list of Allowed Apps for Screen Time

When I am trying to set up my screen time limits for specific apps, Safari is not showing up on the list. I use the app every day so I can’t fathom why it would be missing since it’s a native app to iOS.

Ok but it keeps asking me if I want more time. I do not want that message to appear. I just want to use Safari as normal. I’m only trying to block social media apps after 10:30 pm.

Have you even tested it on your device?

Probably you have asked a wrong question. I have tried my level best to answer what you have asked for as well as what you intended to ask but did not.

I have given below three scenarios based on what you asked.

  1. DownTime : Safari is always allowed
  2. App Limit : Safari is always Allowed
  3. Content & Privacy Restrictions: Safari options does exist.

  1. DownTime (See the pic below)
  2. App Limits See the pic below
  3. Content & Privacy Restriction see the pic below.

You did not ask but may have intended it.

Now the only question left is how to restrict Safari during Downtime and App Limit Set time. Here is the answer

Settings > Screen Time > Content and Privacy Restrictions > Content Restrictions > Web Content > Limit Adult Website [Tick]

Under Never allow

Add Websites.
