I recently noticed a weird behaviour in the location sharing of Message app.
Where although I have setup my new phone (14 pro) and set sharing locations from this device, the popup here is still saying my location is shared from a previous device (13 pro max, which was already erased and removed from my Apple ID). See screenshot below. I hope someone can shine some lights and provide suggestions how I can solve this.

Let's check under the Settings > General > About > Name menu, to verify that your new iPhone wasn't automatically assigned the name of your prior iPhone. You can also find more details on that process in this resource: Change the name of your iPhone - Apple Support
If that still persists after verifying your new iPhone has a different name, are you still seeing entries for your prior iPhone in the Find My app?
How about if you sign into the iCloud website? iCloud
