My iPad Air 5 is having major issues

this iPad has never had issues until a couple of days ago. There is no damage external damage and it has never been dropped onto a really hard floor. Also it won’t do anything and can’t turn on . You can still slightly interact with the actual screen. Is this a user fault or an internal technological malfunction.Could you claim money back or get a replacement ?? If you have any ideas feel free to reply it would be much appreciated. Thank you

Your photo suggests that your iPad has suffered a hardware failure that may require repair.

Start with a forced-restart of your iPad - as this will often clear an isolated software issue:

Force restart iPad (models with Face ID or with Touch ID in the top button)

If your iPad doesn’t have the Home button, do the following:

  1. Press and quickly release the volume button nearest to the top button.
  2. Press and quickly release the volume button farthest from the top button.
  3. Press and hold the top button.
  4. When the Apple logo appears, release the top button.

Force restart iPad (models with the Home button)

Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.

If you continue to experience difficulties, you would be best advised to visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP), where the technicians will be able to test and assess your iPad - and you can explore your available options for repair:

Otherwise, you might consider Apple’s mail-in repair service:

Hardware fails - for all kinds of reasons. Speculation is pointless; the fault needs to be professionally assessed and diagnosed.
