Digital Crown not working for resetting

my watch is block as I entered too many times the wrong past code. I plugged the watch, press the side button until the power button shows, then I press the Digital Crown but instead of showing the reset option the screen goes black. Also tried to press the power button for few seconds but it is not working either… It is a series 2.

the watch is still registered under my devices but I had to reset my phone so the watch and my phone are not connected.

The sequence of button presses you describe make no sense. For example, why would you consider pressing the Digital Crown after the power button shows? That is the incorrect approach whether you’re trying to power down the Apple Watch (you should press the power button) or reset the Apple Watch (requiring pressing and holding the Digital Crown and side buttons simultaneously).

It sounds like this is what you’re trying to accomplish.
