What version of iMovie is compatible with Monterey and where can I get it?

Does any know how to install iMovie for Monterey? I don't get it. Will APPLE fix this??????

It always say : It requires macOS 13.5 or later

How about those of us who have a 2015 MBA with MacOS 12 and have never had imovie on the machine. The tip that said the current one in the Apple Store will work is WRONG.. A banner says 13.x.x is required.. HOW do I

download a copy of iMovie that WORKS on MacOS 12??

Yes, since I posted that answer back in August, the version has been updated and now requires iOS 13.4.

That may have been true in August 2023, but it's no longer true today (Dec 2023). Currently only the most recent update for iMovie is available and that requires a newer OS.

This worked for me, just as described. I just updated to Monteray.

this makes sense to me, but the problem is that iMovies was never installed on this PC, so I dont see any "clouds" :-(

Hi Phil124, this also did not work with my Mac... do you have a different link to another version of iMovie please?

What if I dont have an old version installed...? Then this does not apply, correct?

Hi, I just tried this and it didn't work.

A panel appears to say the OS needs to be 13 or more and mine is 12.7.2
