I was racking my brain on this one for a while until I noticed the Windows 11 machine that was working was older WIFI Card. Newer Windows 11 machine has the Killer(R) Wi-Fi 6E AX1675i 160MHz Wireless Network Adapter.
I searched the web and found this thread.
When I loaded the "Killer Intelligence Center" I noticed warning messages indicating that my router is not compatible with newer capabilities on this Killer WiFi Card.
Work around:
Thanks rivrbend!
Glad to hear it
"Riverbend"! Lifesaver. Now if they would only figure out how to fix this permanently. I just turned off all the services in Killer Intelligence Services and my icloud now works again.
Very helpful. I turned off the "Killer Prioritization Engine" in settings, nothing more, and it solved my problems. Still works after re-booting. Thanks rivrbend!
Thank you, that worked! I think much better solution then deselecting IPv6.
I have isolated this problem to Killer Network Service. If I turn this off in task manager the problem goes away and iCloud works as it should.
Thanks for the response. I will see if I can find this app. I may have already deleted it! Never saw this page, tho.
You don’t need to turn it off compkey just some of its options in the settings
Simple fix and worked perfectly. Thak you. (Now can you explain why Microsoft created this unnecessary problem for icloud users?)
Thanks for your help.
Good question, wish I had the answer to that!
Great point. Thank you.
Did you try disabling the Intel Killer Network Service utility as reported above? That is the cause, it's nothing to do with my ISP. VPN probably probably just tunnels through that service.
My computer doesn't have Intel Killer Network Service.
Interesting. More grist to the mill (for others to consider I think).
My problem is still gone away with the service disabled. I don't miss it!
Neither does mine
It's very likely there's more than one thing interfering with iCloud on Windows. I wouldn't call it the most stable thing Apple has ever released.
