Music App - Video Playlists display controls and filename when each file plays!
The Ventura version of the Music App introduced a big problem for using the app for video presentations.
First off, Music is an elegant, user-friendly app that was designed to not only play music (.MP3), but also videos (.MP4 and .MOV, among others).
When a video begins to play, the current Music app displays large video controls in the middle of the screen, as well as the filename of the video in the bottom-left of the screen. This is displayed EACH AND EVERY time a new video segment starts to play. Unfortunately, many presentations start with a text based screen and this display covers the text.
NO PREVIOUS VERSION OF iTUNES OR MUSIC DID THIS!
The Apple TV app also displays these controls as each file begins to play.
This is extremely distracting to the viewer, and was not implemented in any previous version, as indicated.
The are no settings to remove this display. All have been tried.
Does anyone have a workaround?
And, no, an alternate video player is not an option for many reasons, not the least of which are Music's clean interface, playlists, ability to save playlists in a searchable format (ex. .PDF), top-down play of playlist simply by tapping the Space Bar, the totaling of playtime automatically when adding files, etc., etc., etc. (No to VLC, Elmedia Video Player, iLove Media Volume, Final Video Player, OmniPlayer, Cisdem Video Player, MKPlayer, Filmage Player, etc.)
