Will apple care + cover a bent iPad Pro device? My kid stepped on the iPad resulting in a pretty decent and noticeable bend. The device is functioning fine but I’m freaked out. I have apple care+ and have scheduled an appointment. Wondering if this will be covered under “accidental damage” and repaired/replaced. Was also wonder how much out of pocket i will have to pay. :(

Apple will decide what the replacement will be - generally it is a refurbished device with the warranty carried over to the replacement device. They will also decide if the damage is covered or not - we are not affiliated with Apple, we are just other users, so cannot speak for Apple. Here are the current terms of Applecare for the US:

Follow up: will the replacement be of less quality or refurbished ? (Since the bend doesn’t effect use, maybe I’ll just keep it)
